Long Overdue Life Update!

It's been far too long since I've posted! I got way too caught up in my reading (and some life stuff too) that I kind of just ... Forgot that I have a blog ... Oops!

But I'm back and will try to get back into the habit of posting and updating again!

So, just to give you a minor life update to get us back on track, here's some info on what's been going on in the last couple months.

Well, first off:

- I finished my re-read of the Throne of Glass serious! Turned me into an emotional wreck, just like I knew it would. Plus I found more amazing foreshadowing!

- Not only did I finish the ToG series though, I also read a few other books. This brought my reading total for the year so far from the measly 7 1/2 books I was at, to 19 1/2! Still under half of my year end goal of 45, but, I've got 5 months to read 25 1/2 books. So, here's hoping!

- On a sadder note, (it was actually before my last post) my Gram passed away. She's the first person I've ever lost and it took a little bit to be able to move on again.

- Also on a not so happy note, this year marked the 4 year anniversary of when I went through some pretty sh*tty things and I was not in a very good place for a while. However, with the help of my amazing best friend, my puppy, and my love of reading fantastical worlds, I'm working on getting through it.

- On a happier note, I'm moving! It's not set in stone yet, but hopefully I will moved in September. I'm staying in YYC, obviously (can't exactly be YYC Bookworm if I don't live in YYC), but where I am is just too far from the people I need in my life and it way too expensive on my own. So, a high school friend and I found a place and will be moving in soon!

Not a whole lot more to tell. Nothing EXTREMELY exciting has happened in the last few months, but maybe something will come up soon. We'll see.
